Today....

I usually don't post without pictures because I don't really like reading a post without a photo but I wanted to write this down, I thought it merited an entry on the blog.

Starting the day...
This morning when Olivia woke up she cried out for me and I went and got her and brought her back into my bed to snuggle. She put her arms around me and closed her eyes and said "Mama I missed you......!"

Ending the night...
Then tonight we went to the bathroom to brush our teeth and she said "I want to pee pee on the potty" I said sure. She did it! Twice. She was so proud of herself.

Easter Morning

We had a great Easter Sunday..... Our Aunt Kimmie came to spend Easter with us. It was so fun. We had a great day at church and a lot of fun looking for eggs when we got home. Olivia loved all the candy. Who wouldn't! We went away from the traditional Easter meal and had Cranberry Coconut Chicken. It was yummy! We had a little Easter lesson with a carton of eggs and in each egg was a item that went along with a scripture about the atonement and resurrection of Christ. Olivia liked it until she saw the mini crown of thorns that went on Jesus head and then she could not stop saying "mommy sharp.... Jesus" over and over. We let Olivia pick out her own Easter dress this year. I had purchased one for her but when she saw this one that my mom bought her she loved it. She wanted to wear it everyday up until Easter. So I let her. She could wear it until we ate or went outside. I loved the hat and was glad it matched her dress. We miss you all and wish we were with you.

Egg Dying and OCD

I could not help it.... I hate the mess of egg dying so I came up with a solution that worked perfect. Clean up took seconds. We had a lot of fun dying eggs and just being together. We did this at about 10PM Saturday night. Maybe next year we will be more on top of things.

My Baby

I love this girl. I could not imagine life with out her. She is so much fun!

Daddy Napping

Olivia can't stand when people sleep and she is awake. After the Easter Egg hunt Kevin snuck in a little snooze on the couch. Olivia could not help but try to wake him up.

Saturday Easter Egg Hunt

Thanks to my friend Elisa we had a great neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt in the common area. Most of our little friends were there. Olivia ate all of her candy before we left to go home. She LOVED it! She was so excited about the Easter Bunny coming the next day that she did not go to sleep until 1 AM. She kept saying "The Easter Bunny is coming to hide eggs." So fun. She makes life great!

SLACKER!!!

I have been a total SLACKER! I have 10 new posts that I did today. Sorry about that. I have no good excuse!

Happy Easter

I forgot this was another project I made for Easter for the door. Olivia was just showing off her new sunglasses. She loves them. She has been standing in front of the mirror looking at herself for hours at a time. We miss you all and wish we could be with you all on Easter.

The Vain of my Existance

I thought ripping out the linoleum floor would be easy. A day or so and it would be done. Ten days latter and we are still working on it. We are now almost done. I have to tell you I did not hate the floor enough to have done this. I should have left it in. I was just trying to update. To give you an idea of how hard it was to get up I even tried to heat the floor up with a torch and we almost lit the floor on fire! Kevin and I are still laughing.

Cozy Coupe

Olivia loves to ride her bike. She loves to be outside. She can even peddle now. However when we go outside to her friend Sophie and Ben's house she loves the Cozy Coupe. She will stay in it for hours. I should buy her one of her own. Maybe this summer!

Random shots

Grammy and Papa bought Olivia several dresses. This was the favorite by far. She loved it and has asked to wear it everyday since. I decided to let her wear it as her Easter dress since she likes it a whole lot more then the one I bought her.

Grammy's Birthday

My parents came up for a weekend that was way to short. We spent a lot of time just relaxing, listening to conference, talking and celebrating my mom's birthday. I wish they lived closer so we could see each other a lot more. We miss them very much.

The first night they got in Olivia was so excited that she did not want to go to bed so we took her to the airport to pick up Grammy and Papa. She was so happy to see them. We went back to their hotel and hung out with them until a little after 11PM. When we left Olivia melted down. She cried until 3AM screaming "I need my Grammy and Papa" over and over again. Needless to say she loves them!

My latest craft

I was pretty happy with the way this project turned out. I will not be doing many more projects until all our our house fix-up projects are done.... SO SAD!

Scout Birthday Party

We have so much fun in scouts.... Two of our boys are moving up. One will stay with us for another year and the other moves on so we had a Birthday celebration. With Pizza, root beer and games.

Lego Tower

This is the Lego tower that she put together herself. She was very proud of herself.

Lipstick

She LOVES lipstick. Every morning when I get ready she wants lipstick. She is so much fun!
