Elisa's Birthday...

We celebrated my great friend Elisa's birthday at the end of last month with a birthday breakfast. We had lots of yummy food and of course most of us did not shower or put on make up. I promised Elisa I would not put this picture on the blog.... I have to say I secretly always planned on it. I am just glad that it is a good picture of her. She is an inspiring person. I love that I have become such great friends with her. I love everything about her, she always makes everyone around her feel good.

The Zoo

My friend Lisa and I took our kids on a trip to our local zoo. We had a lot of fun and ended up bringing home a long purple stuffed snake.

Fast Sunday Funnies

This fast Sunday a little boy in our ward who is about 10 years old and really cute got up and bore the sweetest testimony about prayer. I hope I do him justice here....

"I am really grateful for God answering prayers. I have said like a thousand prayers and I can only think of one or two that he has not answered."
