Box Fun

Although the image is slightly blurry.... I can not begin to tell you how much fun the two kiddos had playing in a box that might seem to small for one however they both fit in it.

Dallin Turns 1

What can I say about this amazing little man..... He makes my heart melt with his smile. He is so calm, yet determined. He knows defeat when it happens. He is such an amazing spirit I can not believe how blessed Kevin and I are for having him.

Olivia adores him and can not get enough hugs into a day with him. He loves her so much. Sometimes he wakes up in the morning and does not even want me he is looking for her. They are so lucky to have each other.

Dallin is a TOTAL daddy's boy! He loves his daddy. He gets so excited when Kevin gets home from work. He wants him in the middle of the night if he ever wakes up. He just loves his daddy.

Dallin is smart and funny and loud. He make a noise that sounds like a squawking bird. It is his way of talking. He walks really well and wants to run. We love him.

For his birthday we went to our local zoo and had a great day. It started pouring rain shortly after we got there so we spent $20 in cheap plastic ponchos. A souvenir to remember. Then we had a hot dog dinner and opened presents. We love him and are grateful everyday for him.

Olivia the Super Hero

Olivia was invited to her friend Byron's Super Hero Birthday Party. She was supposed to dress as a super hero, however our dress up bin contains princess dress after princess dress. So here is Olivia the Rapunzel Super Hero. She made her eye mask at the party.

Hiking around the muddy pond

Kevin was supposed to take the scouts hiking around the pond. We found out only one boy was coming. Due to the rain the hike was changed to a Saturday so we all went. I must say...... I HATE BUGS. I am not sure why people love nature so much when bugs go hand in hand with nature.

Grandma

It is strange to think that I will be celebrating this Christmas without my two Grandma's. I have a life time of memories with these two ladies. Some good and some funny. They were always sitting on the couch talking when I came into the room. It is so nice that they liked each other so much. I miss having my Grandma H tell me that I or someone else in the family was on her s@#* list. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. I would intern tell her that she was on mine and what was she going to do about that. I always felt love from them. They were not perfect but in my eyes they were wonderful. I love and miss these two wonderful ladies.

My Grandma H would literally kill me for this picture. I LOVE IT! I have to admit I took these pictures off my sisters blog and I could not help but want to share them.
They always told me that we looked exactly alike. Genetics are a cruel thing. If we look so much alike why do I have a good 50 lbs on this women! That simply is not fair. My favorite memory of my Grandma goes like this.
Grandma H - I am so ugly
Grandma H - I am just so ugly
Grandma H - REALLY I am so ugly
Not even 1 second later
Grandma H - Jamie, you look exactly like me!
You have to love the lack of sensory skills this women had...

Liv Turns 4

Olivia turned four last month. I can not believe how fast time fly's. I still remember like it was yesterday being pregnant and throwing up all day long. She is such a sweet, wonderful little girl. She is defiantly one of the best blessings I have ever received. I love her more then anything. This was her birthday party we had at our house. She had so much fun with her friends.

The Good Old Days

I think someone has a little "crib envy!"

Bath Time

I love that they are old enough to take a bath together. It makes things so much easier.

Our new little guy....

OK, I hate post with no pictures but I have to say I am some what of a lame brain when it comes to new technology. We got a new camera and I have no idea how to down load the pictures. I need to have Kevin show me how.

Anyways.... I have had a few calls and emails asking me if we have had the baby yet, etc. We did, over two weeks ago. He was born on May 14Th. He was cute and tiny. He weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and was 20 inches long. We named him Dallin. He had a lot of hair compared to his sister who was bald for the first few years of her life. It is a light brown. His eyes are a really dark grey so we will see if they turn brown. He lost 12 oz in the hospital in the first couple of days, he is really tiny. I had him c-section so I have been out of it for a few weeks. Hopefully everything will get back into the swing of things and I can get back to blogging more often.

It is funny because you worry when you are pregnant about whether you will love the baby the same as the first if your first will be OK with their life being totally altered. Everything just has an amazing way of working itself out. There has been an adjustment for everyone especially Liv but not in a bad way. The hardest part for me so far has been making enough time for Liv so that she is not sad. She went from 100 percent of me to a tired, recovering mom. Our little guy is so sweet. He does not cry much and brings so much joy into our lives, it is absolutely amazing.

Well I will try to post pictures tomorrow if Kev can help me!

Hair Bows

My friend Shelly come over the other night to catch up. We have not seen each other in a long time. She brought a lot of supplies to make hair bows. It was so much fun. We made princess hair bows by looking at some pictures. Olivia was so happy. Playing with them and she has worn them everyday. It was so nice to create and be with my friend.

St. Patrick's Day

We set a trap for that pesky leprechaun, we wanted to catch him so he would not destroy our house. I told Liv how much he liked broccoli and if we left him a bowl he might leave us a treat and not mess up our house.

Liv made the best green cake ever!!!!!

It worked!!!! We woke up to this. He was a sneaky little guy. He did not ever set the trap off but ate all of the broccoli. However we loved the treats!

Our finished cake!

For a girl who only wants to wear pink our wardrobe for St. Patrick's day is limited. We made it work.

All in all we had a fabulous day!
